What?

Is that link supposed to be all the posts in the Elektrolumens forum?
 
Ah... my bad.

That is pretty amazing. I haven't jumped onto the lithium bandwagon just yet. But 1:47 vs 4:20 in this light is a pretty amazing difference.
 
Be careful....you don't alway get such a good performance increase. Here's a thread about a 2xAAA MiniMag with a Lt-1 drop-in 2mm led conversion. This thread contains runtime plots using 2xAAA alkaline and 2xAAA L92 Li batteries. Only got about a 10% increase in runtime using the L92 AAA batteries.

Let me see if I can help (someone should make this a sticky, hint, hint)---the edit link button is your friend, when quoting another thread or post, in addition to the link it is usually useful if you can also supply the post # in question. In this case it is post # 780845 for Roy's runtime graphs of the Energizer Lithium AA primary cells. If you list the post number, then no matter how someone else's preferences are set, they will be able to find the post somewhere in the thread. For example, my preferences are set to display 50 posts per page (I read a lot of threads where there are hundreds of replies so this comes in handy). For me, when I click on the link GBoy supplies, I get nothing! hehe, since that link is for someone who has default display preferences; for me I get an instant popup reply window instead (try it, temporarily set your preferences to display 50 posts per page and see what happens when you click on that link).

Here's what you should all get into the practice of doing for links, truncate all of the formatting parameters in the link after the 1st instance of the coding command "&Number", replace the post number in your link with the one that corresponds to the actual post # that you want to direct everyone to read, right after &Number command.

So for this particular example, Roy's graphs for the Lithium Energizers is in post # 780845, and that is what you need to replace in the link for the initial post of this thread (GB, you can edit your post to do this, hit the edit link at the upper right hand portion of your initial post).


I would type it like this:

Or if you want to get a little fancy with your notations you can use this format for specifying the thread title, which can help direct someone to the thread in case you make a mistake and put up a bad/non-working link (hehe, I never make that kind of mistake /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif ) In the above example, no one will know the true thread title, if you mess up with the exact link address, and as such they can't find the information at all! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gifulls hair out:

Remove the asterisk ( *url= ) I'm using to make the link inactive, such that I can show you the formatting, and it will work as the bottom instance below, and note the placement of all 4 of the bracket symbols or the link will not work correctly:

I've been playing with my CBA. Here was a quick and dirty runtime plot of 2 Energizer batteries at 1A.

I think it would be interesting to compare an actual light runtime plot against a CBA plot set to the same draw.
