Lithium batteries and PT Attitude

Hello, all.

Would putting lithium batteries in a PrincetonTec Attitude cause any problems? Or, rechargeable batteries? Basically, would it cause the led's to burn out? Also, would it provide a brighter light, or make no difference? Obviously, I haven't tried this yet; I wanted to see if anybody had a problem doing this, and learn from their experience.

Thanks,
Frank

FrankieCrabs,

The Rechargeables should work just with a slightly dimmer output due to their lower voltage. As for the the Lithiums, good luck finding AAA lithiums. There are posts about that on the batteries forum. The AAA's are non-existent to my knowledge. Someone else probably can and will give you more detailed advice. Good luck to you sir.

Thanks, Spinkid. I've never noticed whether or not lithium AAA's existed, simply because I've never needed AAA batts much- I've only once before in my life, that I can think of, owned anything that ran on AAA's. As for the rechargeable's, since the light would be dimmer, they're out of the question.
