Hello CPF Members,
Lurking here a while and learned many good things about LED flashlights. I am planning to get the new HDS light for my aging parents and even though rechargeables are the way to go, I seriously don't think they can keep track of the charger thing and the worst case scenario, get the house on fire (or like my avatar LOL).
Surefire lithium batteries have a good life span of about 10 years and come with a cost. Are there any comparable ones available today? I've also read somewhere that the battery discharges slowly so I need to know which one can be stocked for years and not worry about these things.
