Locater Flash now dim

Question guys. So locater flash is enabled on my clicky. I just recharged my 18650 and put it back in. Now my locater flash is barely visible.

Disabled and re-enabled, still super dim.
Did a full factory reset. Re-enabled locater flash and it’s still super dim.

Any suggestions?

I’ve gotten them new and the locator beacon was way, way dim. Dimmer than other HDS lights I had on hand. But after some use, the beacon flash became brighter. I observed this with several lights fresh from the HDS factory. I asked about this phenomenon here and never really came up with an explanation. Could the beacon mode just be variable for some reason? I’d let it run in beacon mode for several days and see if it brightens again.

The beacon did get brighter after a few minutes.
Very odd indeed, but everything else seems to be functioning normally.

I remember doing a runtime test with one of my old HDS light. They go a long time

Got me thinking. I should probably activate my beacon considering the type of dark areas I work in
