Looking 4 Maglight protective sleeves, cases

Hey all:wave:

I just built my girlfriend a shiney new 3D maglight setup with an FM 9 battery pack running a WA 1185 bulb. Not terribly expensive in the world of flashlights, but not exactly cheap either. I REALLY hated to part with it and give it to her as she doesn't understand the significance or value of such a cool light! In otherwords, she's not a flashaholic! BUT... she just HAD to have one, it's only fair since I have like a "billion" lights according to her. So to appease her desire, I built her the above. Now I know she's going to just throw it in her car and let it roll around on the floor board, getting all scratched up. So I'm looking for some kind of protective sleeve/case or something that I can put over it. Is there anything out there that exists that would serve my purpose?

What about getting the Maglite accesssory flashlight clips and mounting it in the trunk? probably find them at Home Depot/Lowes/Walmart worth the trouble to keep it from rolling around and getting banged up

Athletic (tube) socks are a good protective cover for Mag's to keep them from getting beat up in a vehicle, I've been using them for years

You could protect the battery tube with a Nite Ize neoprene grip and install a rubber Maglite anti roll ring on the bezel.

A length of old bicycle inner tube could also be used to wrap the Mag body in a pinch.

That's the beauty of a Mag build. If she gets too scratched or dinged, pull the guts and get a new host.
