im looking for an edc light. i have a sunwayman m11r on the way which has the XM-L emitter. im now looking for something with more throw. as for batteries either 123 or AA ( a 123 format with a tube extender for AA/4500 would be GREAT). also a plus would be if the light had some li-ion protection built for unprotected cells. Im looking at the jetbeam rrt series but i dont like the infinite variable ring, something about solid clicks feels better to me. i see that the older r5 rrt-0 has the same UI but with pre-set levels, but they are not that easy to find. so my primary choices are: older jetbeam rrt-0, eagtac d25a/c, or some kind of zebralight. i am open to any manufactures, but im not too fond of the Zebralight UI with the button on the head of the flashlight.

requirements:
batteries: cr123a/rcr123 or /AA/14500 or both!
price: $0-100
lumens: min 1-20 max 200-400 with at least 3 settings.

CPF guru's i need your help.
