Ok guys! So we here in Michigan are having a huge snow storm and realized I do not have a Lantern. Thus I'm looking to get one! Not looking to spend much, probably under 50 bucks, would like to have 360 show and bright as can be! lol I might also need it for camping so rechargeable might not be the best. unless it has a secondary charge function.

I did browse around on here for a while and didn't quite see what I was looking for and so I figured I'd cut down the internet time and ask all of you!

Thanks!

then maybe a petrol lantern is something for you, it has a nice warm and bright light en and can be used as heater when you place it next to you.
u can find great deals for coleman lanterns on ebay..

I was thinking a propane lantern a well...since the propane cylinders can also be used for stoves, etc.. I would just go for a bagless one. But...using them in tent's isn't really ideal. With that being said, the coleman exponent lanterns are very bright and very compact. You could get a AA model and run it off eneloops/duraloops (VERY reliable rechareable AA's) and then switch to lithium AA's/Alkaline until you had the chance to recharge the eneloops.

Again, the Coleman exponent (here) series are some of the brightest/smallest lanterns out there, where most lantern MFG's are using outdated/inefficient LED's, etc.

Hope this helps, and :welcome:
