Hey Guys, Been gone awhile using Lights that I'd rather not talk about.

Need to get myself some new personal gear.

Previously I've had a few lights over the years, and I'm looking to get some new ones.
Previously I've had Fenix LD20 and TK-20 lights, both are MIA, Streamlight Stylus pro, 2d maglight with led upgrade, Mini-Mags, both led and incan, and numerous other junk.

All Lights I'm getting will be used in both EDC and when I'm working on car and in field as a medic. All lights need atleast some water resistance, and not be paper thin.

Right now I'm looking at getting a couple of lights from O-light Either an M20 S or S-X warrior series. Just not sure which I'd rather go with. On O-Lights site they say the S supports typical 2x 123,s 18650 and also 2 rcr123's, where the s-x only says 123's and 18650, Either way I'm looking at both as kits from Battery Junction, and All-Battery right now, Just wondering what you guys think, and maybe weigh in.

I know Ultrafire batteries aren't great. I'll be getting a 4-sevens v2 charger here as well as cooking up my own with some charger ic's that I've ordered.

On a side note, I'm also looking hard at the O-Light Hikers kit that comes with the SR-35 and TC-15, any opinions there? as at 92 bucks its a great deal considering the price of single lights on their own.

Reasons I'm not looking at Fenix lights even though I've had them in the past and loved them is simple, I'm looking to try something different for a change.

I'm also evaluating a 2 AA and/or possibly a single CR123/RCR123 cell light.

Look forward to hearing what you guys think.

Thanks in Advance,

Im afraid your post is a bit too rambling to really make any sense out of. I have yet to figure out exactly what kind of light you are looking for.
Try telling us what you want to use the light for and what kind of batteries you want to use.

Do you have any 18650/RCR123 type charger already?

Do you have a NiCAD/NiMH AA charger, or universal smart charger? Do you have any rechargable AAs that you already use?

How about size limits? Is this for around the house? General purpose work? Camping? Do you want a floody worklight or a high throw for seeing way off? Does it need to be pocketable? Or holsterable? Or do you not expect to carry it very often. Do you need one for work? Frequent usage? Or just occasional use?

Yeah, you're all over the place.

:D

#1 - 4 Sevens V3, not V2, is recommended (V2 had problems, V3 is great)

OK, sorry about that, Basically I've answered my own question and ordered an olight m-20 s-x with a tenergy tl-100 and 2 ultrafire 2400mah 18650's for now, it was all a kit for 100 bucks, only 5 more then the light itself. after what seemed like forever went by with no response I decided I'll just have to go my own and cross my fingers.

As for what am i looking for now?

are the intl-outdoor panasonic 18650 cells worth buying?

Looking for a 2xAA light that can also run off a single 14500 with spacer, something trim would be preferred since it will be living in a small pelican case. It may also be carried on duty as a paramedic. Min-output im looking for is 150 lm otf, with high/low modes, I don't need things like sos, or infinite adjustment. However they will not take a light out of the running. The catch is I'm located in canada so it somewhat limits my local availability on what i can order in country. I'll report back on how my Olight purchases do once they arrive.

thanks for taking the time to reply.
