Hello,

I've got a small collection of flashlights, and would like to add another one. I've only used this forum to understand and gain knowledge in flashlights, so this is my first post.

I was looking for something that uses either one AA or a cr123 (rechargeable), that fits on the palm of the hand.
Whats the light that gets the most lumens with one of these batteries?
I would also like extra features like light modes (lo, med, high, strobe).
Also would like a good body design.

I've had a look at:
- jet-beam rrt0 r5
- Fenix L10
- Sunwayman V10R or V10A
- Nitecore EX11.2

Any other good brands that I'm not remembering?

Thanks in advance.

Bruno, I have all the lights you mention but I sold the RRT-0 because of its bigger size. I am very happy with the V10R but I second the suggestion of a Thrunite 1C because for its size it is difficult to find something that puts out more light on a rechargeable RCR123.

Yeah, but the v10r looks so much better. How much bigger is the rrt0 compared to v10r?

Single AA lights with the most output are the Zebralight SC51 and Thrunite Neutron 1AA. Personally I like the SC51 better because of the better UI and beam. The output of these two lights matches lights that use a single cr123a but you can use a simple rechargeable Sanyo Eneloop AA cell in these. Here are selfbuilts results showing this compared to some of the other lights mentiond:

Let me toss the Incendio V3U LE XM-L into the mix. I seriously don't think there's anything brighter in a 1x123 length. (525L! and I think that's OTF.) You will need IMR16340s to take full advantage of this little monster.

If there's anything brighter in a 1x34-35mm battery light that's only 3" long I'd like to know about it.

without first hand experience all but Sunwayman V10R is most handsome IMHO.
I got a Ti coming my way.

Where can I get one?

All really good options.
But I'm leaning towards the Jetbeam rrt0 or the sunwayman V10r.
Thats because both have really cool design, easy to operate the light output options. The only thing is that there have very different prices, Sunwayman $80 and Jetbeam around $100
I really like the size of the nitecore Ex11.2, but the light output changes are really complex to be changed, but the price is like $50 which is a plus!
Really hard choice! What should I do?

I'm impressed with that output. SO now i will also add the LUMAPOWER INCENDIO V3U to the list.
Now which one should i get? So many options, wish I could get all.

I also found the Jetbeam I Pro, which can use a AA battery. The output is around 240 lumens.
But this has the older R5 LED. Does any one know if they will upgrade to a XML?
