Looking for AA runtime king that will use "dead" batteries

I'm looking for an LED light that has a VERY long runtime, and runs preferrably on 1 AA battery.

I'm hoping to find a light that is able to use AA batteries that are too low for most other lights, thereby giving me essentially free batteries.

I mostly want this light around for emergencies.

Basically I'm looking for something like Milkyspit's candle, only for AA's.

Anything like this in existance?

I just received a low power Kilimanjaro in which I put in a mostly dead battery from my Pacific AA and so far it is running great, I am sure that their higher output option would be very good as well and it also comes in a single led option but I would recommend the 7 led version.
