I'm looking for a carrier for 123 and AA cells. Ideally, this would be a plastic tube, as this would fit most places (like my briefcase) better than the boxes sold as spares carriers. Anybody found anything like this? I can carry the AA's in their card packs, but I buy the bulk lithiums from Surefire, and don't just want them rattling around...

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Look in Manufacturers Announcements Forum. Maker is JKnight, a CPF member. The tubes and caps are for 123s, but should be usable for AAs, and he does do some custome lengths.

Thanks for moving my post as appropriate. Thanks all for the links, sounds just like what I was looking for!

Thanks for the tip, Ross--I just ordered a 123 case and a AA case with 7dayshop. I didn't think I'd find anything in the UK and shipping from the states wouldn't be worth it for something like that.

Hi,
I just got the 123 carriers from 7dayshop with their cheap 123 batteries and was so impressed that I bought the AA one as well. They are on sale at the moment as a new item at £1.99. Bought 48 Panasonic AA Powermax3 batteries for £9.99 as well. I think these must be the lowest price in the UK!

Nice to find stuff thats not 'Rip of Britain' for once.

For us in the UK, 7dayshop is great. They do sell cheap 123's as well (well, cheap for the UK). They work out at just over a quid each. Their plasticised (sp?) battery carriers are great as well.
