I am looking for a multiple aa light. 6 or 8 cells would be fine. Weight and size are not a problem. I'm looking for a warmer color and perferably more of a flood than a thrower. Does anyone know of such a light? I don't want parallel cells. I want the high voltage and a buck driver because they are the most efficient.

Thanks for any help

I'm looking for a floody 4 or 6 AA myself, I have plenty of throwy lights but now am getting interested in more of a wall of light

I don't have one but Jetbeam PA40 NW should fit your bill.

I have a Fenix Ld40, an Olight S65 and a Nitecore EA4.

Nitecore EA4 is a great light for its size but it is a real thrower. S65 has a smoother beam. Mine is a CW. You should find one with a warm tint as CW one is greenish.

I've got a iTP A6 Polestar. It use six AA's. Very nice light. Four modes, with mode memory. Very nice balance of flood and throw.
EDIT: this Flashlight discontinued, it seems...... sorry
