Well I got to work and was given a good laugh by some guys saying ALL Streamlights are "Intrinsically safe". To which I replied, they may very well be the exact same light BUT, if they don't have the certs on the light to back that up, you could be told to leave the property for breaking their rules. Also is it a heat issue that the "IS" lights are lower powered?
