Looking for small lights as gifts

I'm looking for a few inexpensive LED pocket lights as gifts. Specs. that I'd like are:
1-good build quality
2- twist switch
3- a low ( long runtime mode ) discernable med. and high
4-runs on 1-AA batteries
5-pocket clip
6-under $25.00

ITP A2 or Olight I2. They're basically the same light but one is a little larger and can tailstand.

Plenty out there but I would also go with the above posters choice or even drop to the AAA version,I use both often and the AAA is my edc,plus I use the A1 as well.

2nd that. My only complaint on the Olight is that the clip is too stiff and the screws holding the clip can strip easy.

#1 would be the ATP A3 due to the great size/performance and central loop on the tail.

I have several "AA" keychain lights, but the one that is always on my keychain is a Blackcat. For 9 bucks, it is a great light that runs on "AAA".

I know you have asked for two modes but you should consider the Fenix EO5 the diffused beam and output is great for an EDC type light.

How about the ~$1.50 mini led lights with caribiner (e b a y)? That's what I'm giving out this year.

They are basically like the egear zipper lights.

I'm leaning towards these two lights ITP A2 or Olight I2....I was hoping to check the Olight out at last weekends Gunshow ( there are usually at least one vendor there selling Olight).....no such luck. Last weeks show was very small.

Both are awesome little lights. If you search around you can actually find the stainless steel ITP A2 for ~$25!

Sipik SK68, I carry one every day it can't be beat. If your really want a more traditional looking light you can go with the C78 but I personally think the C68 is a higher quality piece. Plus at 10 bucks each you can't lose ;)

Agree the SK68 are awesome little lights. They do really well on 14500- just wish it had High-Med-Low.

The C78 can use the nite-ize multi-mode tail while using 14500 :)

It's A few dollars over the @25, but the Xeno E03 is a good gift light. So far everyone I got one for has loved it. Although the brightest would be on 14500, it does work on AA. Very bright small light

I'm a college student on a budget. Over the past couple days I have been trying to find something affordable yet something I'm proud to give as Christmas presents to a few people this year. I personally have it narrowed down to either the Marac AAA in copper or the warm XL-M XENO EO3. Still really torn on which one to go with, might come down to ordering one of each and deciding after I get my grubby paws on them. :sssh:

There seem to be a lot of solid options out there, but keeping your criteria in mind, I think the aluminum Maratac AA might be a good choice for you. Solid, simple, twisty action. Nicely spaced low med high. Comes with a clip. I don't own one but they seem to have a solid following.

Maratacs are basically internally equivalent ITP/olight lights but at a $20+ premium, and not really considered budget lights. AFAIK they even nail you on the shipping on them and I only know of one seller. Even the xeno (~$30) is what I'd consider to be somewhere on the high end of budget lights, because most 14500 lights in this forum tend to be around ~$15. Fair suggestions, but not really low-priced. Don't get me wrong...I have two Xeno E03s and 3 ITP/Olights and highly recommend them.

Ya I suppose you are right. I just looked and AA maratac's are over his budget at $30. And currently sold out, so scratch that idea haha.
