Looking for some low priced, bright lights..

I wouldn't mind recommendations on some lights under say 60 bucks that are fairly small and bright.

RCR123, 14500 or 18650 only please. I want different output levels and SIMPLE UI. I'm too damn stupid to do the complicated stuff.

I actually prefer front buttons but I know that most aren't.

Flood or spot doesn't matter.

Don't list fenix or eagle tac as I don't much like the way they look.

Note, I've seen the Balder and Sunwayman line so no need to list those.

If you like front side buttons lights that run well on RCR look at the Olight S10 Baton, just got one myself and it's great. I also can't recommend the Zebralight SC600 enough it's really good and also a side button.

Its against forum rules to link to dealer sites here on CPF proper but you can find those light's at the dealers you mentioned above.

jhc, I have looked at the baton and I intend on getting one. I like all the features and the magnet seems like a good idea.

Yeah, I've read a lot about the zebra 600 but aren't there a bunch of different versions in the 600?

The SC600 has different versions for the tint and beampattern, but they UI is the same for all of them (from what I know).

The earlier ones stayied on max output without stepping down, but the current ones step down after some time if you run it on max output.

So, are all the SC600's the same other than the tint and beam? Ie, output and so on.
How do you know which version powers down?

I think all of them step down from turbo now. Only the first revision had a constant max output.

The tint also determines the output somewhat. Warmer tint/High CRI = less output.

I'd take a look at some of Crelant's offerings, the V9CS in particular seems pretty good for you.

Man, I got this e mail from one of the flashlight sellers on cpf and now I can't find it. Had a decent looking little flashlight for around
30 bucks but dammit if I can find it now :(
