I want usable lumens...not something that on turbo is only good for minutes. Good battery life and will light up the backyard for when my dogs go out. Throw is not important and price either, to a point.

Think I am going with the Olight Marauder 2 for two reasons. One, its the only light to my knowledge that you can switch from spot to flood and two its $80 off for Black Friday! Plus 14,000 lumens...not too bad!

How big is your backyard?
I can't imagine any scenario where a Malkoff Wildcat is not superior. And it's cheaper.
Malkoffs are built for dependable performance.
Elzetta Bones would be a good option, too.

I can hold onto a light with proven 4800L for about 15 seconds. I can't imagine how hot real 14,000 lumens gets.

The Malkoff Wildcat is awesome for flood. I have the 18650 version and an older full size version. Maybe another thing to consider is the Malkoff Hound Dog18650 because it comes with 2 diffusers. It is an awesome throw light for your 13 acres and you can put either diffuser on to smooth the beam out.

Last night I bought the Olight Marauder 2 with has a switch to go from spot to flood. See how that works when it gets here. Also ordered the Lucifer X headlamp with 5000 lumens from Lucifer Lights. Might buy a malkoff also as girlfriend gave me 2K from casino winnings to feed my habit!

look for "soda can" lights, there are prby a dozen on the market, i have emisar d18. very floody, good runtime on 3 cells, and not too big
