Hello!

I'm looking for a flashlight that's ~$40 and has a barrel diameter of 0.75". The reason being, it needs to fit into the loop of my CO-47 for work.

I can modify it and add a slightly larger loop that would fit my Surefire G2, but I would prefer to keep the loop at that size. I have been eyeing a Fenix E21 as well as the Streamlight ProTac 2AA, though I would still need a slightly larger loop for those. The Quark Mini M2A is another possibility too.

I'm too particular on batteries, as long as it holds two. 123's are great, but I like AA's too.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks much,
Anthony

You didn't mention a price, output level, or runtime.

The MiniMaglite 2AAA LED is pretty nice. The MiniMagPro fits your requirements, although I haven't used one myself, so I can't comment on the user interface.

If the Mag in there in the Pic is an AA Mag then the 4/7 MA2 dual AA will go in there too.
The head may not be big enough to keep it from sliding down thru the loop but the pocket clip on the 4/7 should stop that too.

I also have a few RipOff Holsters for the AA Mag and almost none of the lights we covet on here will go in the Mag loop but the 4/7 will.

There must be others but this is the one that I have tried.

Price of around $40 and preferably with fewer modes. Lo/Hi or Lo/Med/Hi is really all I need. Runtime and output are not very important either, as long as it functions and is of nice quality. Good warranty isn't a bad thing either.

Sorry for being so vague, but I'm really trying to weigh all my options and see which one I would prefer. The only real guideline is it needs to fit into the holster.

So far I have 2 on my list that will fit in the sleeve:
Quark Mini AA2 (M2A)
StreamLight ProTec 2AA

Thanks for the help so far!

I've been carrying the M2A for over a year straight now and it has never let me down. Get yourself a pair of eneloops though. Regular AAs don't seem to fit as snug as I'd like and have a bit of rattle (not sure if this is something they addressed during the rebranding). A quick low/med/high light with some bonus modes. No one-handed operation either.
