Lost knife \"classics\"

Seems like everytime I really like a knife, somebody discontinues it. Wondered if you have any "lost" classics. Here is my list:

Cold Steel mini Outdoorsman and mini tanto
Spyderco Wayne Goddard Jr. micarta
Benchmade 750 Pinnacle
Spyderco Co Pilot
Westek auto (still looking for one of these)
Paragon mini-UDT
Dalton California Special
Benchmade Leopard

Re: Lost knife

Black Jack The Small in 52100
CR Sebenza flat-ground
Outdoor Edge Paragee and FieldLite
Microtech L-UDT and SocomElite (although I'm quite confident, they'll reintroduce them after a while)
CRKT Apache (sentimental reasons - my first quality folder)

I'm with you on the BM 750 and the Spydie Goddard. I was fortunate enough to get a Pinnacle but the Goddards were gone before I was into knives big time /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif

Re: Lost knife

I feel sorry for chris Damn, a chris reeve and a couple of microtechs, someone please buy me a ticket to germany, I will get a metal detector, and I will come right over LOL, that really sucks, well anyway, I havent lost a knife, but a guy that I was living with recently, until about 2 weeks ago, stole, a Swiss Army knife, with leather case, compass, magnyfying glass, and flashlight, all in the same pouch, my sister had gone on one of those school tours during high school, and brought it back for me, even had it engraved with my name, the year she was there, and the city it was made, I was so pissed, it turns out he had pawned it at a pawn shop, I hope I can get it back..

Re: Lost knife

The original assisted opener - the Kershaw/Ken Onion Random Task, in the lefty version. Blade's 1998 KOTY.

Should have purchased 2 of these when I had a chance.

Spyderco Calypso and Calypso Jr, although the Jr. is coming back in a limited run.

Re: Lost knife

@bigmmikey - Wow, I thought this was about discontinued knives... I have not lost any of the above knives, but I find it very sad that they were discontinued. Can't even imagine, how it would feel without my Sebbie/SocomE/... clipped to my pants /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Anyway - thanks for that offer !

The only knives I keep losing are SAKs - lost a waiter model just recently during my visit to the Oktoberfest /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif

Re: Lost knife

The original Gerber Bolt Action, not the crappy checkered ones they were making right before they dropped them but the older ones with the thick delrin in white (mine is so worn down I can't put an edge on it anymore, tough knife, great lock). The EDI Genesis1, great knife, very low in the pocket clip carry, won Blade 1998 Best Buy of the year, gone forever. REKAT Sifu. Man, I think I'm gonna cry! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mecry.gif

Mikey, are you "BigMike" over on USN? If so, good to have you here! If not welcome, regardless!

Re: Lost knife

I can't remember the name, but I want to say it was the original SOG Tomcat (but I think it was a different model that they had about the same time as the Tomcat). The one I had my eye on had Walnut handle inlays... I wish I could have afforded to buy it on a Jr. High budget... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jpshakehead.gif
