I EDC an Arc LS (great light, BTW), and I favor the 123 batt pack for it, where pocketability is concerned. However, after prowling this forum, and some websites like www.batteriesamerica.com I'm beginning to lean toward rechargables as an EDC option (after all, my other 2 batt packs are collecting dust!!). Enough background; here are the questions----
-I understand a LiON AA kicks out 3.6v nominal. Is this a viable option for the LS, and if so, what kind of runtime am I looking at? Don't wanna fry her...
-I found some 2000mah AA cells at the aforementioned website. These are 1.2v, though. Will I sacrifice much brightness in comparison w/ alkalines or standard lithium cells, and what can I expect for runtime?
All this, in the knowledge that the Arc is regulated, and I might screw up the 'flat' discharge curve...
