Ahh,

Ok, so will the LS5 look the same only longer to accomodate the second cell?

it looks a lot like a surefire E1 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Drawings of the LS4 with 2AA pack and LS5 would be nice /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif
And come to think of it: would the 2AA pack work on the LS5?

It was said that both the switch and head needed to have some type of controller, so I'm guessing no.

That tailcap needs to be recessed, bad!
It's to big to hang on a keychain, and the lockout function seems easy to forget...

Hey Kentucky Rifle,

I'm 51 and use my age to justify any purchase. I figure I have about 20 years of life expectancy or less, so I'd better buy a lot of stuff while I can. Just bought a Mazda RX-8.

I don't believe any of the LS' have ever been marketed as a keychain light. In my opinion, they are all too big for that use. That's OK though, since it fits into a pocket very nicely and comfortably.

How big is it compared to the LS1? Looks like a 1/2" longer. And is it the head fatter or is the tail just slimmer than the LS1?

Also looks like a lanyard attachment point on the clip ala Surefire "E" series.

I'm saving my money for this one. Hope they'll have some factory seconds so I can buy a second LS4 as a spare.

Looks just great to me! Another "must have". Hey! I'm 53! I can "indulge" myself. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

My sentiments exactly, but you have to reverse the age numbers to 35 for me! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I don't think it looks at all like a Surefire product, it doesn't have all the complicated changes in diameter, flats, octagons, rings, cutouts, bumpouts etc., just the beautifully simple lines of a Peter Gransee original! With the Arc AA and LS4 coming soon, I guess I need a second job eh!? Need to get more AAA's too, Ouch, this is gonna hurt soooo good!

BT1324-

Yea sucks doesn't it.

Study, get a good job, take care of your body and some day you can buy all the cool stuff you want and women still will give you the eye! Just like those of us here, right guys? Right guys?!?

Hey Peter,
Is the front part of the ls4 the same size as the current LS? Or is the back part of the ls4 the same size as the current LS?

Um, yeah, what GregR said. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Seriously, don't go to crazy for toys at 15. In about a decade, after you are out of school and settled in a solid job, you'll still feel indestructable, and have way more disposable income than now.

The hard part will be to pay your mortgage instead of Gransees. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Back OT: That light will likely be a must-buy. I thought I'd never buy an Arc AAA. I thought I'd never buy an Arc LS, either.

lol, you guys are alright, much better than the other adults ive met in nyc. And about what greg said, let's just hope that i can have enough energy to get the tv remote 4 ft. away from me. What do you guys do for a living anyway? I kinda want to become an engineer for something.
