Lux and output readings...

Due to being very busy lately, I havent had the chance to do much research and make a seoul or cree purchase yet. I have however read a few reviews and I am pretty darn impressed with the lux and output ratings of these new lights. But its pretty hard to believe. Are all the latest readings taken at 1 meter? because ill be damned if a little 1 celled light without even a large optic can pump out over 3k lux.

I can't give you numbers, but when I fired up my first single cell cree light I think I said "Well, I'll be damned!"
