Why is there not a Flashlight company that uses only UX1L leds? Amilight uses only T binned lights. Are the UX1L's too difficult to obtan?

Yeah, I just don't think they are widely available at an economical enough price for a major production company to use them exclusively.

Take a look at the Custom & Mod B/S/T sub-forum. PhotonFanatic (Fred) has UX1Ls and UX1Ks available there. You can mod the light yourself and get exactly what you want.
