LW 4000 Mod?

Has anyone taken the head of a LW 4000 apart? If so, do you think that there is enough room to put a Micropuck regulator in there? Thought it would be interesting to see how a LW 4000 takes to some regulaton. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Edit: Changed LS 4000 to LW (Lightwave)4000.
