LX2 Lanyard

For those people who use the lanyard with the LX2, does the tailcap get scratched by the loose metal clip over time? I'm not sure if I should use the lanyard if the clip will scratch the light.

I use those SureFire lanyard clips (changed out the cord for something else, but kept the attachment clips) on my L1 and C2 all the time. Both have been in constant use for nearly two years, and the lanyard clips do NO harm to the HA coating. It takes a LOT more than a pocket or lanyard clip to scratch SF's HAIII.
