saw some M3 clickies w flutes, now I'm only able to locate the knurled ones.
Any clues?

You are probably thinking of the SW02 which is the charlie cap. It is marketed for the weapon lights (but fits the spec ops lights) and costs twice as much ($50) as the Z48/Z49.

Yeah you only find it in the weaponlight catelog and you can get it direct from SF but it's even more expensive.
Sableco listed it on their site, but you have to check the
availability.
