M6 tactical light

I have a insight tech m6 tactical light i was wondering if i could use the bulb from the m6x so it would be brighter??????????? if anyone has any other ideas on how to make it brighter other than buying the m6x..........THANKS

Are you speaking of using the Surefire M6 bulb(which one?) in the Insight M6?

It will light up but it will be dim and have short runtime. The M6's bulb require a good bit of current to light up well, something just 2 CR123s can't provide.

The bulb might not fit either.

www.opticsplanet.com list's the M6X as not being compatible with the M6 TL. Try emailing them...you never know.
