M6 tail cap disassembly

Hi all,

A few days ago I was reading through some threads on the M6 and how a CPF member disassembled his M6 tail cap to clean all the parts with deoxit/alcohol. Does anyone know how to take the tail cap apart safely so that the threads and brass cap can be accessed?

I just sprayed electronic cleaner in mine. There is a way to get it apart, but I've never done that.

I found another thread with instructions on how to do it.,..finally got it loose while breaking off the tailcap spring in the process.

Sure, ain't no thing. [h=1]SF M6 Softstart / 3 level Incan Driver Switch And M6 McClicky[/h]I just type that into the google search bar at the top left of main forum page. Be very careful when using plyers around the tailcap spring..i destroyed mine in 2 seconds.
