MadMax options

I'm pretty sure this is impossible, but I'll ask anyways. Can 2 MM be used with 4AA (NiMH or Alks) if you put them in series or parallel and use a Lux III? If not, can the MM be used in parallel or series with 2AA for twice the output with a Lux III?

Has nobody tried to parallel 2 MadMax circuits?

This might have been discussed before long time ago.

The output (LED -) is common with the input GND. This precludes stacking converter boards in series.

As for paralleling the outputs, it's possible. I personally have not tried this. Since Madmax runs wide open, depending on your battery voltage, Vf of the LED, one converter board can be driving up to 800mA of current to the LED.

Two would double that to 1600mA if it worked.
