Mag 6C anyone?

Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can purchase the discontinued Mag 6C? I am a huge fan of the 4C & 5C and now desire the 6C. I plan on installing Malkoff's led in it loaded with 4 nimh and a custom spacer I made. this will give me alittle over 5 volts but well under the maximum of 6volts.

I have search online and Ebay but can't find one. I might even be interested in a used one.

Any help greatly appreciated.

There's a problem you may not be aware of...a Malkoff will not work in the 6Cs being sold in the Marketplace. They are the older version and do not have a "C" in the serial number. The tube on those has a bigger inside diameter and a Malkoff drop-in won't seat properly.

If the Malkoff would have worked; it can not run with more than 6 volts. So 4 NIMHs charged would be more than 5 volts but less than six. My homemade spacer takes up the extra 2 cell space without giving up weight. Want the 6C cause its the best light available for secondary use as a baton.

Every feel a 6c Mag loaded with heavy NIMHs? Ouch, don't want to mess with someone if he is carrying one of these!

Your best bet for a mod is a 6C ROP.

Wow! I had no idea that MAG had discontinued the 6C, although I hadn't seen them in a long while. I've had one since about 1994 when I bought it to use as a duty light. I have it in the door bin of my car with a mag led bulb to use in case of emergencies (and by emergencies, I mean to include self defense as well as a flat tire :naughty. The reason I found it so attractive in the first place was because it would make a dandy baton in a pinch.

I wonder what the final sell price will be - it's currently @ $62.76 with 11 bids under the belt and 4 days, 5 hours to go.

Plus the seller wants $10 to ship?! Yowsa!

I guess I should have marked the ones that I sold as a "Fire Sale!" They sure went fast enough...
