just a quick question, does the Super Sabrelight happen to use the same type of bulb as 3-cell maglites?

i thought the pelican lights use a module something along the lines like the surefire replacements. that's what my 8 year old pelican pelilite is using. haven't changed the module yet since i bought it.

According to Pelican, the Sabre lamp is indeed a 'module' and is proprietary to Pelican lights. When replacing the lamp, in effect your replacing the lamp and reflector assembly. They can not be taken apart. They are not interchangable with any other mfg (i.e., Mag) flashlights. Pelican does this, since they are the most safety approved flashlights in the world and using another mfg bulb would create a potential liability.
