Mag Light Mod.... Need help!!

Ok, I have a two Dcell Mag light 30mm Optics and small heat sink. Also have the 2.2 ohm resistor and 123 cell Adapter. I'm ready to do the mod but I cant figure out how to hold everything together. Please help!. I will be running the wire through the broke out standard bulb base but How do you guys hold the optics onto the 5 watt LED and the LED to the base?? any pics and illustrations would be very helpful. Thaks much.

Here's a similar mod, but without the lens; I've never used the 30mm in a Mag yet. But I remember seeing some nice work somebody did making lens holders. Search the board, there's more than one thread. Hope it helps .........

Thanks for the help, where are people getting the Round 1.35 inch aluminum heatsink, I could make my own but without a lath I would butcher it.

Those heatsinks are made by Lambda but last I checked, he said he was sold out. You could try again.

And another member, Rothrandir, makes custom heatsinks and from the pictures I've seen of them, they're very nice.
