Mag Solitaire Vs. Arc Sizes....

Anyone have a side by side picture of the Mag Solitaire and the Arc? Craig says on his site, that the Arc is smaller .... I just gave a friend a Solitaire recently, and was thinking of giving out some of theses Arc's as gifts ... Since I know how big the Mag is, if I can see a picture of the two next to each other, then I can get a much better idea of how big the Arc actually is

. Actually, a picture of the Arc-LS next to them would be nice also (but now I am sureley pushing it

the ARC AAA is just a bit shorter than the Solitaire AFAIK

Solitaire 3-3/16 " / .5 "
ARC AAA 2.7 " / .5 "

No pics from my side but there might be pics somewhere on CPF I could imagine very well - you just might need to search good enough ...

which doesn´t include the Solitaire but might give you an idea if you have any of the other lights

I remembered Stingmon posted a photo with the solitaire and arc somewhere, but I couldn't be bothered searching for it, so here is one i took.

There are also beam photos here , ArcAAA14.jpg and ArcAAA15.jpg are between the solitaire and the arc.

Gee, I wonder which one is better..

Nice pictures! Arc-AAA LE is better, beam and distribution of light is lot better than Solitaire.

Off topic - What is Gaffa? Is that a roll of electical tape?

Gaffa tape, gaffer tape, duct tape, cloth tape, whatever. It's just damn good. The thing in the photo is just so that I have some with me when I least expect to use it. I mean it's quite hard to carry a full roll in your pockets, and I don't always carry a bag.
