A friend gave me a magcharger. I want a really bright mod that will give about 45 min of light. I would like to be able to still use the charger. Suggestions?

WA1160 bulb and a piece a mica for heat shielding. Also, check/wait for FiveMega's offerings under Group Buys.

Install the WA1160 bulb. Then replace the 2500mAh battery pack with a pack of 5 1/2D NiMH 4000mAh cells. You'll get a brighter light with way more than 45 minutes of run time. And you can still use the stock charging system.

Like what the others suggested above. But if you don't get a mica, you can still use the WA01160 (a.k.a. MC60), but just don't "seat" the bulb all the way down onto the bi-pin socket, or it'll melt!

You may wish to "frost" the bulb by using Armour Etch for a smoother uniform SureFire like beam.

Enjoy!

Would someone please provide some links. I am still new to all of this, and don't really know what some of these things are.

Litho123 is selling some frosted wa1160 bulbs in one of his threads. I already preordered. The frosted bulb is supposed to clear up the artifacts in the beam, so I heard.
