For OLD version of MagC, a roll of aluminum foil fill the gap would help.

2012 updated: Due to Maglight change the set screw, you may need a Torx T8 to unlock the newer switch.

Tell you guys a little secret,
MagLED 2 cell can be overdrived by 1x protected Li-ion. You will see the :wow: effect.
MagLED 4 cell can be overdrived by 2x protected Li-ion. You will get ultra long run.
I am already playing those setup for a few months without .
Sure it will get extra heat & brightness. So heatsink must be applied. :devil:
