Magicshine 900 headmount

Hello,
has anyone used the Magicshine 900 with headmount without a helmet / cap?
Is it reasonably comfortable to wear it while walking (not running) for some hours ?
Does it get too hot @ max power ?

I need a powerful thrower without spending a lot of money but I fear the MS900 is not really suitable for extended use without a helmet.

Is you projected use environment cold or hot? Just asking as you could
attach the Magicshine 900 to a more sturdy head strap assembly.

If the temperature is warmer you'll sweat more with a wide stretchy strap
or plastic band wrapped around and over your head. May not be a concern for you though.

Look at the MILA head strap mounting system. Looks like something
easy to build from scavenged material.

Both, unfortunately. I would use the Magicshine both in winter and in summer.
Actually, I'm more concerned about the stability of the headmount considering the magicshine 900 is quite big compared to other head-mountable solutions.
I fear it may bobs too much when walking fast.

When you are using a hat or a head band it's quite comfortable - but otherwise your head need to be similar shape to the helmet because it's the helmet mount with longer stripes that pretends to be head mount. If you tighten stripes enough it will not bob - for 1-1,5h hour runs it's comfortable enough for the price
