maglight dropin

does anyone make a 12v conversion for a d or c cell maglight? it seems to me that a 4cell c maglight was just meant to have 3 18650 batteries installed in it. a simple battery sleeve
and it all fits together fine.
any and all ideas will be appricated.

You might consider something like this. Not really a drop-in but is easily modified to work. The police is using four D duracell's. Can't see why it wouldn't work with four C's. He is also using the six Q5 led drop-in, don't know if that will work in a C mag. Its possible. The five R2 led drop in will work in a C mag with a few mods. Its also possible to modify the driver of the R2 drop-in to except 12v info here.
