I've got the MAG-TAG plain bezel for about 2 month.
Now, I tried to turn it on and... nothing? :scowl:
I thought, the batteries are empty but I remember, I changed them 3 days ago.
Then I pressed the butten harder and... on! :ooo: :duh2:
I cleaned the contact surfaces, but the problem is still there.
Another tail-cap ist working, so it's definitely a problem inside the technic of the tail-cap.
Does anyone have the same Problem like me?

I had some issues with the switch, intermittently. Sometimes not responding unless pressed firmly in the dead center, or not responding at all. Other times it responded well to multiple light clicks as it should. It seems to have settled down after a couple of months of use, and it has now become quite reliable. A very nice light.

If you're having switch trouble, it sounds like it's time to use that lifetime warranty... I'm unsure if Mag Instruments still allows you to send back only the bad parts or not (it's been about 20 years since I've made a warranty claim!) so you might want to check in with them.

I have the plain bezel Mag-Tac and despite the fact it's been given the beating of a lifetime in my extracurricular outdoor activities, it's still going strong.

That doesn't stop even a normally very well made light from having a defective part now and then (I could talk to you about my XL200, talk about bad from the box!)

I hope you have a smooth experience, let us know how it turns out please :)
