I am somewhat new to the world of modding.. What I am looking for is to mod either my M*glite 2D or 5D. All I want to do is add another bulb, and possibly lens. Here are the Specs I'm looking for:
-The Most Throw I can Achieve.
-I don't care about runtime.(I want something really powerful to show off)
-Max Lumens
I have heard about the ROP, would this be a good fit? (Pelican Big D FL-3854)
Any Advice is Appreciated.. lovecpf

What kind of money are you looking at spending?

With the 5D, you could get ShiningBeams p7 driver, with H22A's heatsink, KD's Aspheric lens, KD's D-bin P7 emitter, Nanomizer's Aspherical lens protector, and 5 Ni-MH's. If you don't want to spend $ on Ni-Mh's, you can substitute ShiningBeams driver for DX's CC/CV driver (get at least 2, so you have a better chance of getting a functional driver)

Lens protector:

H22A's heatsink (you will want the P7 heatsink with the HAIII):

KD P7 emitter:

ShiningBeam's p7 driver (he is waiting for them to be shipped still) Do not use 5 Alkaline batteries, you will fry the board, as the board is designed for 6 volts max:

DX's CC/CV driver (Constant Current/Constant Voltage). You can use 5 alkalines with these drivers:
