I keep trying to research this and keep getting directed to this site with keyword search links but never this exact answer.
This is nto one of the annoyance posts about the shipping cost in mag lite warranties I have seen many of them.
What I want to know is people's experience on time it takes them to receive parts they have ordered from maglite. I had some batteries leak and destroy a mini mag. decided to rebuild it rather than throw it away. bought a (what i think is) nice led upgrade Terralux LED, some sanyo XX NiMH high capacity batteries and generally cleaned it all up. All the parts are here but I am still waiting on the switch assembly that I paid $5.25 for maglite to ship me a week and a half ago (jan 2 2014) I actually ordered a service kit as well with 12 switches, and a ton of spare parts for $17 shipped since then but not goign to be here for another 2-3 weeks but at this rate I am wondering if it will get here before the (comparatively) expensive maglite switch assembly.
Has anybody just straight up ordered parts from them and if so how long did it take you to receive them?
