Hi,
Anyone else notice on Thomas Distributing website they now have the Maha version of LSD batteries. Sure sounds alot like Eneloop technology to me. They are rated at 2100Mah. Looks like only AA for now. TD has them for $9.87 for a 4 pack.

I did. I ordered 8 to try out. I am far (really, really far) from an expert on LSD (batteries or otherwise), but I suspect that the new Maha LSDs are more in the Accupower, Kodak, Uniross and Ansmann camps than Sanyo's camp.

BTW - did you notice that there is no mention of where these batteries are made? TD generally makes a big deal of "Made in Japan." It also looks like TD lifted the features/specs copy directly from the Eneloop materials and then inserted IMEDION in place of Eneloop? :green: They even missed one referrence to Eneloop.

No real problem, but it does make investigation of these batteries a little more difficult.
