Malkoff M61 lense

I'm probably the last person to figure this out, but the acrylic lense for the Malkoff M31/M61/M91 is the exact same size as the sapphire lense for the McGizmo Haiku. So there's an option for people looking for the ultimate in durability. I've cleaned sapphire lenses with motorized wire brushes before and they didn't care.

I didn't know about it. Is the sapphire lense for the McGizmo Haiku anti reflective coated?

Thanks for the info. I actually received a couple Sandwich Shoppe AR coated Sapphire lenses yesterday. They fit well, being .57mm thinner than the Malkoff units.

If you wanna really help out....how about letting us know where you bought them.

Unfortunately the only source I know of for authentic McGizmo sapphire lenses is McGizmo. I think the "Sapphire lense for A19" item at The Sandwich Shoppe is the same diameter and thickness, though I don't know if they have the same indestructible A/R coating as McGizmo lenses have. If a perfect A/R coating is the most important factor, then a UCL glass lense from FlashlightLens.com is the best bet.
