Malkoff MD4 and compatible batteries

Just ordered a Malkoff neutral Hound Dog with the MD4 body because I really like using 18650 batts. But the Malkoff website warns some 3400ma 18650s are too large for the MD4 body but doesn't state which ones are.

Does anyone have experience with Malkoff's MD4 body and which 18650s work? I have my eye on replacing my old Trustfires with Orbtronic 3400ma protected 18650s. I'm wondering if there are any issues using them with the MD4.

Why don't you buy directly from
AW himself. That way you know it is authentic.

Who is a good online source for AW 3400 and EagleTac 3400 batteries?

I got my Eagletac 3400's from IlluminationGear. They fit great in my Malkoffs. GoingGear is another good source but they didn't have the charger I wanted in stock at the time.

Orbtronic 3400 18650 will not fit in the MD4 body without reaming the body out some. I did it on mine, but it would be a lot easier to buy the AW which already fit.
