was looking at l91s today and they was like14 bucks for 4 batts unless i miss read it

I notice Energizer lithiums went to $24 for a 8 pk at Target and Giant. Oddly the 6pk at target was like $12. I was thinking I should pick some up if I see the old prices.

i want to be rich one day id love to never look at a price tag and just buy stuff.

As I wrote here recently,
Energizer L91 Ultimate Lithium AA cells
in 12-packs at Wal-Mart were $ 16.24 last year.

Now they're $ 29.99 !

I dont find the individual battery prices high it's the shipping costs in UK that annoy me.

Ikea Ladda NiMh AA& AAA (Eneloop type batteries) 4 packs are $6.99 for the 1900mAh and $6.49 for the 750mAh as of last week! Still quite the deal for Made in Japan LSD NiMh's. I picked up them up in person, but I think they ship them now too.

:buttrock:

Last time I checked Sam's club prices 18 L91s is $27.99 or $1.56 up from $1.39 or $24.99 awhile back. I keep wondering when Energizers patent on them will expire and we will see competition but since Rayovac was bought out by Energizer awhile back seems only Duracell is their competition and that doesn't bode well as Duracell doesn't seem to like pricing their batteries competitively IMO.

Also Lidl do cheap rechargeable NiMH.

Been using rechargeables for so long, it was a shock to try to buy new D-cell alkalines for my most recent couple vintage Maglites. Crazy.
