Maratac AAA sound

Got a Maratac AAA that has been acting up recently. When I turn on either low or medium the head is making this buzzing sound. For some reason it doesn't do it on high. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

Same thing is now happening to me after I dropped it from waist height onto a concrete floor. Not the first time I've done that, but it's the first time it seems to have caused damage. I will let you know if it fails, but so far I don't notice any loss in operation quality. Just buzzes quietly.

That noise should be normal and is the inductor "whine" that occurs on many lights.

My SF LX2 will do that depending on how I press the tailcap.
