got one a couple months back at target. an interesting novelty item. it cost me $20.00 at the time, which i thought was a bit much but got one anyway to complement my zzzlite, sauce lightwand, and watercolors led lamp. 42.50 is definetly out of line.

Consider the $20 as a lucky buy!! I spec'd these out for a client of mine. He wanted 15 of them. At the time, they were only available at the Terence Conrans Shop here in NYC. Going for $75 a globe.

I LOVE TARGET!!! there were maybe 5 on the peg but haven't seen them lately. just lit mine up after sitting for about 3 weeks and it lit up fairly bright. i believe the package said nimh batts. it also said not to throw (craig may not like this light?) my first thought was to bounce it back at me off the floor but haven't tried since reading that warning. looks like it would be fun to abuse, ballbat?
