when you polish the head on a 3 led matty do you polish around the leds or do u leave them alone and just polish the outside of the head?:thinking:

cut out a small peice of masking tape and place it over the leds before polishing. afterwards, if polishing compound gets deep in the grooves,
you can cut the head of a qtip into a soft thin point and clean it out.

Nice tip- I have polished the single's- but not the newer "cluster" style. Either of you thinking about any of the new offerings- ElCapitan perhaps- or MWClint- that SAR 3000 beast?

Hand- but now that you mention it- I think dremel might make a little conical shaped buffing wheel- might work on a LOW speed application....mine will sometimes "run away" on Hi Speed.:eek:
