mdocod vs modamag resistance

anyone knows how the modamag battery adapters compare to mdocod's battery adapters as far as resistance goes?

well, let me rephrase this, I am thinking about getting a modamag, but not sure if it would be as good as a mdocod adapter, the only problem is that the mdocod's are not available yet. So does anyone know how well the modamags are with resistance.

I have both battery adaptors from from both and they both work well. As far as build quality goes the Modamag versions are the best I have ever seen.

Are you sure you arn't confusing the Fivemega holder with Modamag? I find that the modamag holder is well built but my cells pop out when I swing my light.

I have battery holders from all three . the Modamag units are for the Colossus projects and are the best units I have ever seen period. I have a few from FM which are quite good and the two I have from mdocod are early versions and not as nicely made (although he has since made improvements) but they function quite well.

Agreed, but I suspect the OP was refering to Modamag's earlier holders for D cell bodies.

im confused now, im talking about the ones from the sandwich shop and the ones sold here by mdocod.
