Hey guys,
I am a long time reader but finally decided to make and account. I have carried an AAA preon for years and its great. I never am without it and i love the AAA platform because its usually bright enough for my uses. However I am always in the woods, Sometimes i night climb and walks are taken spontaneously. There is always a car to fix or a stolen golf cart to find at work in the dark.
I have a few lights but i try to carry via belt pouch when i can : klaurs st11, olight m22, or my surfire fury.
More recently i have bought a fenix e35 and its awesome. My light listed above are a little large to leave in my back pocket and the belt carry is not always the easiest depending on what i am doing that day.
Im looking for an 18650 platform about the size of a fenix e35 but with more options, maybe a better interface and operation. i do prefer a tighter beam profile. and moonlight is a must. and i dont use pocket clips or cigar rings. I also don't need 1000 lumens but i would prefer a measure or around 10000-13000 cds
