I'm trying to find some metal capsules (waterproof) for my key chain and dog tag set. Any ideas where I can get them without spending an arm and a leg?
TADgear.com has a survival capsule about 4 inches long for about $30 (don't know about you though, I think that's an arm and a leg). Berkeley point have (had?) one too at about the same size.
We've had great experiences with the capsules sold by Bison Designs http://www.bisondesigns.com/catalog/key_accessories_85836_products.htm . The Scuba Tank is perfect for a single CR-2 or CR123A and the others I use for everything from pills to 'paper id' and cash storage.

How big do you want them?

Yeah TadGear is something I would love to have but it costs way to much.

Your local "Drug store" like Walgreens should have a couple or three sizes for around $5.00. I bought one the other day that's big enough for holding a CR123A with room left over. They also had one that's just big enough for some Nitro pills.

Yeah Scuba looks like a perfect thing. Now 8 bucks for an item and 7 for shipping. Damn.

Sometimes big sporting goods stores stock those capsules, usally on racks with the eyeglass bands and caribiners. No shipping charges that way /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I bought the little capsule from The Sports Authority. [ QUOTE ] polak187 said:

Oddly, it seems to be too small for my purposes. On the outside, it is about the same size as the aging plastic bottle I currently carry. The thickness of this pill fob's walls, however, make the inside a wee bit too small for my needs.
