Now some time ago people were having large battles about the quality issues of the LongBow Micra. I just recieved mine recently, and I must say, it is a GREAT light. Mr Keith (KSBman) and Mr Wayne (Amandotech) were kind enough to give away lights and batteries. I was one of those fortunate people who were on the "list". I chose a Micra because I thought it was a great light which is true. Sorry that I dont have pictures but I just want to give my compliments to the light. I will post a review later. The Micra has a bit of a chunky body but I am 12 years old so my hands are small compared to most CPFers. the Clicky is hard to push, and once again age and strength issues come to mind. Of course there is a twisty available too. The micra give a nice beam I guess and a good white tint. I guess I won the LLottery on this one because the tint was unmistakably white. The first cell was a bit bad I guess because it was used a bit. I am currently on the first battery from the whole amount that Mr Wayne gave to me. In total it was run about 30 minutes and it is still white, doesnt shut off, and doesnt dim. Just not yet. Taht is all for now. Watch the reviews section because I will post one soon.
Edit:I wrote 3 minutes before. I meant to write 30.

You can use your Micra as a twisty by turning it on and then just twisting for on and off.

You might also try your clicky with the bezel toward the heel of your hand and use your index finger to turn your light on & off.

Thanks for the info. My fingers sure hurt from all that clicking....

You can also adjust the sleeve on the Kroll switch to make it easier to click. I have a clicky switch sitting in my drawer, but it's the twisty that I use. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I am more than happy with my Micra, I did have problems with it a first, returned it to the manufacture and received a
perfect one.

My Micra has served me very well. Travelled to Europe everywhere and it performed under every condition I was confronted with.

Does the black have HA III? Because I notice it is cheaper than the OD green Micra. Does the OD green micra have HA III? I have the black version.

The black Micra is HA-III. Some folks think HA-III can't be shiney black, it can. Most of the better grade rifle scopes are HA-III.
